Mushroom Gruyere Chicken and Rice Casserole

Creamy Mushroom and Gruyere Chicken Casserole with Rice

Ingredients:

2 cups cooked rice
1 pound chicken breast, diced
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
1 cup Gruyere cheese, shredded
1 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon dried thyme
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Million Dollar Chicken Casserole

Decadent Chicken Casserole with Creamy Sauce and Tasty Toppings

Ingredients:

3 cups cooked chicken, shredded
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
1 cup sour cream
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
1 cup crushed buttery crackers
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Overnight Crème Brûlée French Toast

Ingredients

1 French bread loaf

8 eggs

2 cups milk

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup sugar, divided

1 tablespoon vanilla

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

1/2 cup melted butter

1/2 cup brown sugar

Maple syrup, optional

Fresh toppings, optional

Directions

1. Slice French bread into thick pieces.

2. In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, heavy cream, 1/2 cup sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

3. In a baking dish, mix melted butter and brown sugar.

4. Arrange bread slices over the butter-sugar mixture.

5. Pour egg mixture evenly over the bread.

6. Cover and chill overnight.

7. Preheat oven to 350°F.

8. Bake for 35–40 minutes, until golden and set.

9. Serve warm with maple syrup or fresh toppings.
