Why is August is one of the best months to visit Panama City Beach?It’s because you get many of the perks of peak summer without some of the drawbacks.

* Water temperatures are typically in the mid-80s, making it perfect for swimming, snorkeling, paddleboarding, and boating.
* Air temperatures usually range from the upper 80s to low 90s.

* As schools across the country begin returning to session, the beaches become noticeably less crowded.
* Shorter waits at restaurants and attractions.
* Easier to find a great spot on the beach.

💲 Better vacation deals

* Nightly rates are lower after the first week or two of August.
* Guests can often enjoy the same beautiful weather while paying significantly less than during June or July.
