Sixty years ago this summer, the Chateau opened its doors on Front Beach Road. It’s been on the sand in Panama City Beach ever since.☀️
 
To celebrate, we’ve brought back a little of that 1966 spirit with a retro “Sun’s Out Since ‘66” look that you’ll see around the hotel this fall on posters, tees, and more.
 
A lot has changed in Panama City Beach since 1966, and the view from the Chateau is still one of the best on the Gulf. Thank you to every guest, team member, and family who has made this place part of their story. Here’s to the next 60.
