The morning after Hurricane Isaias. Very minimal things at our place. We have a generator that was filled with fuel and coolant the day before but We have no power, no water, no elevators. I like they strapped the bull down this time at Angelos so he wouldn’t blow away like he did during hurricane Michael in 2018. Thank you for all the texts/messages checking on us. We appreciate it.

Today, Oct 8, 2026, the water was calm all day. Fairly large crowds hanging out on the beach. We have family here on fall break & will brace for the wind & rain tomorrow. One daughter left early today to head to middle TN (not weather related) & arrived 12 hours later instead of the normal 8 hours.

Good morning from Twin Palms. Happy Labor Day weekend. The water is blue, clear, and calm with yellow and purple flags today. Thought this rainbow in the clouds was pretty so thought I’d share. Rachel & Warren

The Gulf at the east end is finally clearing up from all the seaweed in the water and on the beach. YAY! Many people will be very happy about that ☀️🌊⛱️
