Long-weekend rule: bedtime is a suggestion. 🌴

There's a specific kind of tired that only happens after a full day in salt water — the kind where kids fall asleep mid-sentence and stay asleep. Bunk beds, sea-glass striped bedding, and a room dark enough to actually rest in.

The guest room gets the same treatment as ours. 🤍

Same real mattress, same blackout-friendly blinds, same drawer space. We didn't put the good stuff in one room and cut corners on the other — whoever ends up in here shouldn't be able to tell they drew the short straw.

Because somebody always does draw the short straw, and it's usually the grandparents being polite about it.
