Looking East ...Whitefish Point Lighthouse is 9.4 miles distant as the crow flies or boat floats...BUT walking the beach is closer to 10.5 miles...only about 20 cabins closer to the whitefush pt end of this beach..... beaches on lake superior are public...no one owns the beach..
