The Michigan Canoe Racing Association is about to kick off it's annual Tahquamenon River Canoe Race at the Lower Falls of Tahquamenon Falls State Park! The trees are starting to show some color for their race down the river. They end at the Rivermouth just 5 miles south of Paradise so come on down this afternoon for the exciting finish and shorter race that starts at 1:30 p.m. this afternoon from the boat launch. A relaxing start to Hump Day at Paradise Shores Cabins! 🐪🍂
The 𝓟𝓪𝓻𝓪𝓭𝓲𝓼𝓮 𝓢𝓱𝓸𝓻𝓮𝓼 𝓢𝓲𝓹 𝓢𝓽𝓸𝓹 will not be open this weekend due to some dental work I've been waiting months to get taken care of. But we'll be posting lots of autumn pictures this week to get us ready to break out the pumpkin spice when we're back open the last weekend of September!🍂

This past weekend had the feel of fall 🍁with breezy days, cloudy skies, and even a couple rain showers so we're trying to soak up these next couple weeks of warm days & cool nights of September. Join us in Paradise, fall is just around the corner!

25 years already since 9/11/2001. We remember,,,,,we will never forget. 🇺🇸 The Mackinac Bridge only displays its giant 30X60 foot flag a handful of times during the year: Memorial Day (May 25) Flag Day (June 14) Independence Day (Fourth of July) Labor Day (Sept. 7) Patriot Day (09/11) & Veterans Day (November 11). #09/11

With the wind this morning, it is hard to see the giant American flag flying on the Mighty Mac in honor of those who perished 25 years ago today on 9/11.
