🎉 A NEW CHAPTER FOR THE PARIS FISHPONDS! 🐟

After years of planning, fundraising, and incredible community support, we’re excited to celebrate the groundbreaking for the Save The Ponds restoration project!

📅 Friday, September 18, 2026
🕒 Groundbreaking Ceremony – 3:00 PM
📍 Paris County Park — report to the Paris Park Office to be directed to the event.

The groundbreaking celebrates the funds raised and the construction contract awarded for Phases 1, 2 & 3 of the project—a major milestone in bringing this historic site back to life.

Then, keep the celebration going! 🎶 From 6:00–9:00 PM, join us for a Community Celebration in the Park featuring live music, food vendors, and fun for the whole family.

🚗 Vehicle entry fees will be waived for everyone attending the day's festivities!

Come celebrate the history, the progress, and the future of the Paris Fishponds. We hope to see you there! 💚🐟

🍂🎃 Halloween in August is creeping up! 👻🕸️

Join us this weekend for a spooktacular day of family fun featuring:

🏕️ Campsite Decoration Contest - Voting ends Saturday at 5PM in the Park Office
🧙 Costume Contest - Saturday at 5:30PM
🍬 Trick-or-Treating throughout the campground - Saturday 6PM-8PM

Decorate your site, dress in your best Halloween costume, and bring your candy buckets for a weekend full of fun at Paris Park!

Campers be sure to bring lots of candy and set-up a station on your campsite by the roadway to welcome all the excited kids in costume!

We can't wait to celebrate with all our ghouls and goblins! 🎃🧡

🎁 New this year! Everyone 18 years of age and older who attends will be entered in a raffle for the chance at a $100 Mecosta County Parks Gift Card! 💳🎉

🍩☕ We'll be serving FREE donuts, coffee, and bottled water while supplies last. 🍩☕

🎄🎅 Christmas in July is Here at Paris County Park! 🎅🎄

It's time to trade in your flip-flops for Santa hats and join us for a weekend full of holiday cheer!

🎁 Decorate your campsite for our annual Campsite Decorating Contest - Tour the park, write down your favorite sites and be sure to place your vote at the park office by 4 pm on Saturday. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 decorated sites.

🎨 Enjoy festive crafts, games, and plenty of Christmas cheer throughout the weekend!
