Beneath the mural of his beloved Sunday Silence, we honor the remarkable life of local legend Arthur B. Hancock III of Stone Farm—horseman, singer-songwriter, husband, father, grandfather, and a true Kentucky gentleman.

This reel captures one of Arthur’s final public performances, singing “Sunday Silence” during the dedication of Dark Horse, the mural by Jaime Corum, at Hotel Thoroughbred during last year’s Legends of Bourbon County Festival.

It was a particularly meaningful moment: Arthur singing about the horse whose legacy is forever intertwined with his own.

We invite you to bring flowers to the mural at Hotel Thoroughbred to honor Arthur’s life, his legacy, and the extraordinary mark he left on Bourbon County and the Thoroughbred world.

Nashville singer/songwriter Sam Lewis brings his blend of Americana, Blues and Soul to the heart of Thoroughbred country during his ‘Everything’s Fine’ tour.

Doors and bar open at 6 pm. Show starts at 7 p.m with local bluegrass artist and songwriter Jeri Katherine as the opener, followed by the feature performance of Sam Lewis.
