We’re so lucky to call this mountain home. We’ve never seen the northern lights before and were shocked it didn’t happen in some far away land—we witnessed this magical event from our deck 🖤

FUN WILDLIFE FACT: Snowshoe hares have been called the snickers bar of the forest as they are a main food source for many different predators. Lucky for them, they have evolved some unique tricks in order to survive. As the days get shorter, their hair will start to change until it eventually becomes all white. While snowshoes are fast, they are better served using their winter coats as camouflage to hide from predators.
