Chef Klemens Gold of RAU, the acclaimed Michelin-starred Austrian restaurant, returns to Goldener Hirsch to launch Alpine Terroir, a summer solstice culinary series celebrating the flavors and traditions of Europe’s high country.

Rooted in alpine foraging and seasonality, Chef Gold brings his nature-based approach to the mountains of Deer Valley on June 20 and 21, interpreting local ingredients through the culinary heritage of Austria’s alpine regions.

A LOOK BACK: Last summer’s Summer Solstice dinner with Chef Klemens Gold from acclaimed Austrian restaurant RAU set the stage for something even more expansive. His nature-based cuisine, rooted in foraging and seasonality, offered a glimpse into the culinary artistry of Austria’s mountain regions.

This year, Chef Klemens returns for Alpine Terroir, a seasonal culinary series celebrating the flavors and traditions of Europe’s high country. Joining him are two additional acclaimed Austrian chefs, each interpreting our local ingredients through their own expression of Alpine cuisine across six intimate evenings.
