‼Red Flag Warning Area Expanded‼
@ NWS has expanded the Red Flag Warning area in effect today, which now includes NE, NW & SW MN through this evening. Strong winds of 25-40 mph, gusting to 45-50 mph, with RHs dropping below 25% are forecast.

It only takes one spark for a wildfire to catch and spread rapidly in these extreme conditions. Residents should:
👀Spot a Wildfire🔥? ☎CALL 911 to REPORT a wildfire from a safe location.
🚫 NOT burn in counties where a RFW is in effect.
⚠ Use caution when doing activities that can cause sparks or heat near vegetation, such as securing trailer chains, parking ATVs on gravel or pavement, and using chainsaws or other equipment outside of the RFW hours.

Hubbard County is now designated in a Red Flag Warning.
High winds and low relative humidity have created very high fire danger.

Please be very careful.
We serve 130 square miles. We are expected to have wind gusts in the 30-40 mph range.
Any fires will spread extremely quickly.
If you have any fire pits that are even weeks old, please consider using water on those.
Avoid cutting wood with chainsaws if you can. Dull chains create heat. The wood and wood chips are fuel, and the wind brings plenty of oxygen and energy.

Our Resort of the Week is Fischbecks’ Weigelwood Resort on Two Inlets Lake on Two Inlets Lake!

Some of the most secluded acreage you will find, with 3,300' of lakeshore on a private peninsula. Each of their ten cabins has a lakeside screened-in porch and a propane/charcoal grill. RV sites are also available.
