This position is responsible for balancing and closing previous business day and completing daily financial reports. This position successfully manages person in charge duties during the overnight shift, including showing sound judgment in making independent decisions and ensuring security protocols are being followed. Assists guests in a friendly, professional and timely manner.

Performs the manager-on-duty role during 3rd shift.
Anticipates and responds to guests in a friendly and positive manner.
Responsible for providing the highest level of service.
Process check-ins and check-outs, verify billing, create reservations, and process special requests.
Assists guests by having knowledge of hotel property, local attractions, and hours of operation of hotel outlets and services.
Ability to work independently or in a team in meeting guests needs, and actively contributes to the efforts of other departments when necessary.
Accountable for accurately balancing all revenue sources and completing daily financial reports.
Process no-show reservations, prepare financial reports for managerial review.
Close the financial day for the hotel.
Follows proper selling techniques and ensures strategies are utilized to maximize room revenues.
Monitors room availability, follows restrictions, and all booking policies and procedures.
Drives sales and maximizes revenue by up-selling rooms and amenities.
Responsible for proper use of all equipment and adheres to cost controls to reduce expenses and waste.
Produces required volume of work by planning, organizing and prioritizing work duties.
After completing financial tasks, works on assigned additional projects, stocking supplies.
Adheres to general work rules and department procedures. Attends all required department and hotel meetings.
Maintains a clean and safe work area in compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push and pull up to 75 pounds on an occasional basis.

As we face the difficult challenge of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) that has been declared a pandemic from the World Health Organization, we would like to assure our guests that we are closely monitoring the WHO, CDC and local health officials for the latest developments related to Covid-19 and following the guidance of government and public health officials.
The C'mon Inn hotel believes that our guests deserve to have a place to go where they can feel that we are doing everything we can to assure a healthy stay.
We have chosen to remain open and will do so until told otherwise. Please be assured that we have your health and safety in mind which is why we have implemented very strict cleaning and sanitizing procedures that have been recommended and a few extras such as using the Ozonics ozone machine in all rooms to help prevent the spread of any viruses.
We would like to inform everyone that our pool and spa are currently closed, however we are still serving a limited hot continental breakfast that follows the Minnesota department of health.

We would like to announce that after 15 years Jackie Senenfelder has resigned her position as the Park Rapids C’mon Inn General Manager. We thank Jackie for her years of service and wish her all the best as she starts this new chapter in her life.
Taking the reigns as the new General Manager is former Assistant Manager Sherry Schave! Sherry has been working for the C’mon Inn for 12 years and carried the title of Assistant Manager for the last 6. We would like to welcome Sherry to her new position and wish her well as the new General Manager!
