Although we rarely have open rooms for Labor Day weekend, our Homestead Room has become available. Our hearts are heavy as our longtime guest is sitting vigil with a young family member. Prayers for our dear friend Billie Jean as she comforts her grandson Garrett at Johns Hopkins.

11 years ago, I started out on an adventure with a group of people who have made such deep and lasting impact on my life. 2014, I went to work for Knoebels Amusement Resort. In that time, I was fortunate to work in many departments and learn the ins and outs of an Amusement Park and the industry it serves.

But, a new opportunity has presented itself and for the first time in 11 years, I won’t be wearing a Knoebels polo this summer. This was not an easy decision, and I will miss the Family I have found there.

Recently, I was offered a position at Susquehanna University. I will be working with the Alumni Engagement team. This is a new direction I am excited for the challenge!

They say you should never look back when you’re moving forward. They’re wrong, there are places, people and memories in the rear view mirror that are dearer to us than we realize. Look back often, and keep moving forward!

Susquehanna University will be getting a fine well rounded team member. It has been my joy to have him assist me in our Beagle's Produce, Beagle's Market and Beagle's Bed and Breakfast ventures. So happy for his Knoebels tenure and the beautifu wife/daughter in law he met there.
Georgia and I can't wait to see what you can do at SU!

Well, folks in the surrounding area are without power. It may be a couple days until the area power is restored. If you have a need we will help as much as we are able. Maybe you need a place to plug in a CPAP machine, a place to shower or get out of the heat.
