Please be aware when coming to Knoll Lake there is no electricity or cell phone service. Payments to the campground must be made by cash or check. There is no store, or auto service station. The closest convenient store is at Woods Canyon Lake, 25 miles away. The camp hosts at Knoll Lake Campground do not sell ice, firewood, gas, cellphone chargers, lighters, lighter fluid, or anything else. We do not do auto repairs, unlock your car when you lock your keys in it, lend out tools, change your tire, give you a jump when you run down your battery by charging your cellphone, or blow up your air mattress. Our trailer is our home, so no, you can not use our shower. We are volunteers, we are not employees of the Forest Service. We clean the restrooms, collect the trash, clean the sites after the campers leave, pick up trash along the lake trail, road to the lake, and around the lake, as well as clean the bathrooms down by the lake when the Forest Service doesn't come because of their day off. We do this all seven days a week. This is our fifth summer camphosting. We do it because we love the forest, and after raising our sons camping up here, we want to give back. It gives us joy every weekend to see the families come up and make beautiful memories together. So when you do come up, please come prepared. ❤️
