Our Story

Joan and her husband always enjoyed their stays at B&Bs when they traveled together -- they met so many wonderful people and created fond memories that she treasures to this day. In 1995, when she found herself with an empty nest and a heart filled with love and hospitality to share, those same memories inspired her to open her own bed and breakfast. Her little corner of Peabody, MA may not be grand or flashy, but it’s a warm, cozy place to relax and unwind after a long day on the road and the perfect lodging if you’re spending extended time in the area. The bustling kitchen where Joan serves home-cooked breakfast every morning, the warm glow emanating from the living room fireplace, and the relaxing patio where many late-night conversations are shared are just a few of the simple joys that make this place so special. But what Joan cherishes most of all are the stories, laughter, and love that her guests bring with them, for those are the things that truly make a house a home.
