Hike, fish, bird, star gaze, visit historic and cultural sites and enjoy the ambience of Northern New Mexico. Cabins are fully furnished and are smoke free.

📻 Amateur Radio in the Great Outdoors! 🌲

We had a fantastic time seeing PRC Guest Lynn out at Pecos National Historical Park, set up and ready to go with her portable amateur radio station! 🎙️✨

Lynn was participating in Parks on the Air® (POTA), an international program for portable amateur radio operations. POTA isn't just about fun in the sun; it promotes emergency awareness and vital communications from our beautiful national, federal, and state parks.

Did you know Pecos has two active activation sites?
📍 Pecos Canyon State Park
📍 Pecos National Historical Park

If you're looking to head out and activate a site yourself, be sure to check in with Park personnel for permission, specific locations and current conditions.
