Saturday was a beautiful day with some tough fishing! Event #1 in the Anchor Pointe Winter Series had 30 boats head out with their sites set on big fish! Only 18 boats brought fish across the scales, proving that Bull can be tough fishing! But a great time was had by all!

1st Place: Trenton Ray & Billy Santana with 14.21lbs. They also impressively caught a 3.70lb fish to take home the Big Bass AND the Hwy125 Marina Smallest Fuel Burner Fish (non-tournament fish) with a 0.03lb Pumpkin Seed! Zoom in and you will see it, it is tiny but it is there!

2nd Place: Richie Huebner & John Hill with a 12.56lb bag

3rd Place: Rick York fishing solo and bringing in a 12.22lb bag! Rick also took home the Antique Side Pot (55+)!

4th Place: Dustin & Eric Blevins with a 10.71lb bag

The Largest Smallmouth out of the money went to Justin Layton with a beautiful 3.16lb Smallie. Thank you to First Community Bank for sponsoring this award!

The Performance Marine Smallest 5 Fish limit went to Tony & Jay Gore with a 10.40lb bag!

Thanks to the amazing businesses we have supporting the Winter Series, we were able to hand out a few additional prizes this year!! We look forward to the next event on Saturday November 28th! Preregister by FB Message or connecting with Craig LaPointe!

A beautiful sunrise, Craig LaPointe on the microphone and about 30 boats in the Anchor Pointe Winter Series makes for a great start to the morning!

Weigh in starts at 4pm on the dock at Hwy125 Marina! Lots of opportunities to win today, so come watch to see the fish that come across the scale!

Stop by the restaurant for a bite to eat before or after weigh-in, we would love to see you on this beautiful Saturday!!

It’s tournament week!
First Event: Saturday October 24th!

Time to get out of the woods and on the water - Craig LaPointe 😂

Based on the early registrations and calls for info, we are expecting a good turnout!

Serveral anglers inquired and we proud to say that the Anchor Pointe Resort winter series has partnered with Fat Bass Challenge! This is a new partnership, if you are not familiar be sure to check them out! If you are a part of there program, your tournament catches will qualify.

If you want an earlier draw, be sure to pre-register via text to Craig, FB messenger or call the resort.

Tournament day registrations will start at 6:00AM at the restaurant where we will have grab and go breakfast sandwiches and coffee!

Registration for those who boated over and tournament launch (8:00AM) will be from Hwy125 Marina!

If you stop in our sponsors this week, please be sure to thank them and let them know you are fishing in part because of there support.

Anchor Pointe Winter Series Bass Tournament - First Event: October 24th!

Pre-register via text to Craig LaPointe, through Facebook Messenger or by calling the resort. Boat numbers assigned in order of registration!

Breakfast + coffee and day of registration starting at 6am!

It is shaping up to be another great winter series. Community support is still rolling in and additional prize money and prizes are still being added.

Reminder:

The restaurant is Closed this weekend (10/9-10/11)! We are taking the time to enjoy a family wedding 💍 and fishing 🎣!!

Cabins are still open and we have a few left for this weekend if you need a quick lake trip to enjoy this beautiful weather!

We look forward to welcoming everyone back to the restaurant when we re-open on Friday October 16th for our weekend hours, Friday - Sunday!

A great day of fishing for a good cause with Challenged Outdoorsmen Of Arkansas & Big Bob's Tackle! This tournament and raffle raised enough funds to cover their new adaptive equipment! With the new equipment they will be able to help more youth and veterans get out to hunt! Thank you to all the anglers and supporters who helped make this tournament a success!!

I’ll admit Coleman’s timeline made me nervous, but he had it dialed in! Craig gave him advice from an old married man all day and helped document the day as they brought home the win! We are so excited for Taylor and Coleman and we’re so thankful to be a part of their special day!
