🐝✨ Our tiny winged alchemists have done it again…

They gathered sunlight, flower by flower, and turned it into liquid gold - also known as honey… also known as magic in your mouth… also known as the sweet little forest healer that somehow soothes your throat, feeds your belly, and convinces your soul that everything may, in fact, be okay. 🍯

And now, for a very limited time, Wild Indigo🪻comb honey is available!

This is honey in its most magical form: still tucked inside the beautiful wax chambers where our bees made and stored it. Chewy, drippy, floral, wildly delicious—and created by 40 thousand+ tiny miracles with wings.

The ladies worked very hard on this, but apparently they did not consult us about inventory. 😂 Quantities are extremely limited, shop the Apothecary link in the comment section!

P.S. Wanna try more of our farm products?! Check out collaboration with our Forest Orchard 🌲❤️‍🔥🥭

🌲It feels a little wild to be standing in a forest dripping with massive 🥭 Pawpaw fruit.

🤙🏽Imagine banana, mango, melon, and vanilla coming together to have a baby—that is a pawpaw. They taste like sunshine. Some as big as papayas. Others bigger than mangoes.

🥭 2 lb. bags of frozen pawpaw pulp are now available on our Apothecary Shop Link ⭐️ in Comments!

This is pawpaw season at and the forest is showing off!

🍽 From the kitchen to the wall, to the forest where we forage it all 🌱

One of the elements that sets Elise Dixie Jane McCulloch Kent apart is our belief that food should never be an afterthought. It’s part of the experience.

Food is a Universal Love 🫐 Language

HERE ARE TWO WAYS TO EXPERIENCE NOW

🍝 October 10 NOURISH YOGA + CULINARY RETREAT
is bringing a hands-on pasta workshop to the farm as part of her Culinary + Yoga Retreat, and I’ll be leading a foraging workshop + forest-bathing hike through the land.

🌲 November 7 | THE RECEIVING RETREAT
This one isn’t a cooking workshop, but food is very much part of the receiving: seasonal breakfast, our build-your-own power-bowl lunch, French croissants, herbal tea, and an entire day devoted to being nourished in more ways than one.

We love welcoming chefs, bakers, fermenters, foragers, herbalists, and wonderfully creative humans who want to educate and guide others... Our kitchen awaits your magic!

🪻COMMUNITY SCHOLARSHIP NOMINATIONS ARE NOW OPEN🪻

And this is where our Non-Profit at can thrive and give back!

For The Receiving, our Retreat on November 7th, we’re gifting two full scholarships to people nominated by members of our community.

We’re looking for people who do not have access (or the knowledge) to wellness spaces — someone who may not be able to afford yoga studios, massage or bodywork, retreats, meditation spaces, or nature-based experiences.

This may be someone who has never been in a wellness space before, doesn’t have easy access to the outdoors, or doesn't have the financial means.

We want you to nominate them.

Please send us an 📧 [email protected] with their name, a little about them, and why you feel this experience would be meaningful.

This isn’t about proving hardship or telling the saddest story. It’s about widening access and inviting people in who would never otherwise have the opportunity.

Before submitting a nomination, please make sure the person you’re nominating is comfortable being considered for this scholarship. You do not need to share deeply personal, financial, or private details about them. All nominations will be handled with care and kept private.

📆 SAVE THE DATE 📆

☆ November 7th THE RECEIVING ☆

Some people reach the holidays carrying everyone.

Others reach them wondering who will carry them.

The Receiving was created for both.

🪻Maybe you are the person who cooks the meal, remembers the traditions, buys the gifts, checks on everyone, keeps the plans moving, notices who is uncomfortable, and makes the magic happen. By the time the holidays arrive, you are already tired.

🦋 Or maybe the season is hard for a different reason. You do not have a built-in person or circle waiting for you. There may be no long list of people to buy for, no full calendar of invitations, and no obvious table where you know you belong. The world can be very social and still feel profoundly lonely.

🐌 The Receiving is a full day in the forest where neither person has to perform a role. You do not have to host. You do not have to entertain. You do not have to prove you are okay. You do not have to create the experience for anyone else.

For one day, the care moves toward you.

🫶🏿Join and for a day of circles, connection, leisure time to swim or board in Princess Leia's Pond, ceremony around the bonfire, yoga, meditation, seasonal nourishment - foodie style, guided Sylvotherapy hikes, Bodywork, sound baths, the famous Brazilian Chakra Chromotherapy Lights, homegrown care packages made by Clinical Herbalist and Herb Farmer Elise Dixie Jane, AND Aura Photography + Videography with ( Earth 🌎 Mother's ONLY Aura Camera to offer Videography🔋powered by ).

🪻Hi friend 🤙🏽Would you share a little Wild Indigo magic?

I’m reaching out to a few of the beautiful humans who have spent time here at Wild Indigo Forest Farm and experienced a little of the magic of this place firsthand.

We are just beginning to build our Google presence, and right now, we have zero reviews. Rather than pretend otherwise, I wanted to be completely transparent and personally ask if you would be willing to help us change that.

If your time at the farm brought you rest, connection, joy, inspiration, healing, or simply a good memory, I would be so grateful if you would take a few moments to share your experience.

Your words don’t need to be long or polished. A few genuine sentences about what you experienced, how the farm made you feel, or what you would tell someone considering a visit would mean the world to me—and will help future Friends of the Forest feel more comfortable taking that first step through our gates.

You can leave a Google review here:
https://g.page/r/CTSRrPi82D6MECE/review

Thank you for being part of the story of Wild Indigo and for having already shared your energy with this land. Every person who comes here becomes a tiny part of what this place is becoming.

With so much gratitude,

Elise Dixie Jane

Kinda chic to...

You, me, and Matcha ♻️

I will be spending every morning, over the next seven days, sharing my experience. As always, I will be transparent about my experience and will NEVER encourage you to shop from Amazon!

After my initial experience with Poda 🐛, this invention seems to be a M A S T E R P I E C E for all the Matcha Lattee beebees 🐝 and especially, a new item to add to our Grocery Market & Online Shop (yes, y'all need to learn we have an ONLINE shop of our Homegrown Apothecary).

S I D E B A R : We will be slowly ☆ but surely ☆ adding more tested, tried, and true products that you can find being sold & served in our Farm-to-Table Retreat Center AND Bed & Breakfast.

🍵 I have oodles of additional thoughts but will wait until day seven to finalize a review.

🆘️ Emergency Update 🆘️

Our brand new puppy 🐶 , Lady Slipper, fell 12 feet through the basement hatch, bumped into the shiplap🪜ladder on the way down, and hit the concrete basement floor.

🙏🏽 Please be patient 🙏🏽
Email & Socials & Messages are NOT my priority at this time!

Little Lady is now on strict sedated bed rest for the next 8 days - in hopes that she will be able to walk by then. She is too young and underweight for surgery.

Lady could really use y'alls healing energy, thoughts, Reiki, and in-person enrichment visits from smiling faces 💖 (she is already bored bored bored - and it's only been 2 hours).

I shall respond to emails 📧 and messages once my undivided attention and energy isn't needed 24/7 for our sweet babygirl.

Friends, please 🙏🏽 call if you want to visit! I won't be checking socials, emails, or messages while caring for Lady.

Big Love 🌎

Elise Dixie Jane
