Happy Sunday campers!

We hope everyone who was able to attend enjoyed the potluck brunch yesterday. Thank you to all that brought a dish to share. Everything was absolutely delicious!

How many people got a chance to look at the "blue" full moon last night? There won't be another until 2028!

Also, if anyone needs their firepit cleaned out after the long Memorial day weekend, please notify the office. :)

It has been going on six weeks since my surgery for knee replacement. I am doing well, I can go up and down stairs now, which i haven't really been able to do all that well before surgery, I have 125 degrees of movement back so it won't be too much longer for PT on my Knee. the pain is minimal now with just discomfort in front of my knee at the kneecap area. So happpy I can actually straighten my leg and walk normally. this summer if you saw how i was getting around you noticed the limp in my steps. Again, i don't think PT on My knee will be much longer. Then starts PT on my left shoulder to help with a rotator cuff problem and of course arthritis too. This is to get stability back in my shoulder. So I also wanted to tell you that I had a TIA which translates to a mini stroke, don't worry no ill effects from it I just have to take meds to help dissolve some build up in one of the arteries in my neck that goes into my brain,. I had a complete medical work up to check for anything else that might be going on and they didn't find anything else abnormal. My prognosis is great. I just have to take better care of myself and when I take my meds. I hope this post finds you all in good health, It seems as though I have been through the ringer lately, I just want to be done with ll this BS. I hope you all have a great holiday season with all god's graces and we will see you in the spring for leaf clean up. Yes, i had to say leaves. haha ha TTFN Tony...............

I just wanted to update everybody about my knee progress; I am 3 weeks and 5 days out of surgery. The PT is going well I'm able to bend my knee about 115 degrees which they say is great for this time in my recovery and can lay my leg flat on the table with almost no real pain. The pain is still pretty bad at times but, I feel like the worst days have past. If you know me, you know I don't like to sit still much for too long. We are getting things done here at camp a little slower than normal but are still going. Hopefully I can get some of the Debree and leaves blown and picked up soon. Hunting season is right around the corner too. Evan set my blind up for me to sit and hunt in on the back of our property, hopefully I can get out a few times. We had a great year here at the Campground with a few of our families leaving for bigger and better things but, we also have a few new families joining us for next season. We hope you all had a great time here and built some great memories. My wish for everyone is to be safe, happy warm and loved throughout the winter months up here. We hope to hear from you all throughout the winter from time to time, If not we will definitely see you in the spring. I will post on here when we will start with cleanup for spring as many hands make for easier work. We will do it all again even better next year, From our Family to yours Thank You. Thank you to all who have wished me well with prayers and friendly support with my knee. We will keep you all posted on any changes up coming.
