❓Isn't it noisy staying so close to Pensacola International Airport?

We get this question all the time, and honestly, it's a fair one.

Yes, we're just 1 block from the airport. And yes, if you're standing outside, you'll occasionally hear a jet take off—about what you'd expect anywhere near an airport.

But once you're inside the hotel? Most guests are surprised by how quiet it is.

Our building is well insulated, and because Pensacola International isn't a massive connecting hub, there simply aren't planes coming and going around the clock. In fact, many first-time guests mention they expected much more noise than they actually experienced.

The upside?
✈️ You can land, grab your luggage, hop on our complimentary airport shuttle, and be relaxing in your suite just minutes later.

Close to the airport doesn't have to mean sacrificing a good night's sleep.

Visiting Pensacola Beach for Memorial Day Weekend?🇺🇸

🏖️ Pensacola Beach Memorial Weekend Beach Rules & Overnight Setup Info 🏖️

If you’re heading to Pensacola Beach for Memorial Weekend, here are a few important things to know before setting up on the beach! 🌊☀️

The Santa Rosa Island Authority has approved a special permit allowing tent frames to remain overnight ONLY in the designated event area east of Portofino near the National Seashore from:

📅 Thursday, May 21 at 7AM through Monday, May 25 at 7AM

This is an exception to the normal “Leave No Trace” ordinance, which usually prohibits personal items from being left on the beach overnight.

✅ Allowed:
• Tent frames only (covers and floors must be removed daily)
• Chairs, tables, coolers, and solar-powered generators — but all items must be removed each night
• Occupying the permitted area beginning Thursday morning

🚫 Not Allowed:
• Tents with sides or built-in floors overnight
• RV parking along the roadway
• Gas generators
• Open flames or charcoal grills
• Portable toilets or pools
• Pets
• Glass containers
• Sleeping/camping overnight on the beach
• Parking in non-designated areas or on bike paths
• Walking on dunes

⚠️ Important Reminder:
Please fill in holes before leaving the beach and help keep Pensacola Beach beautiful for everyone. Leave only footprints and take only memories. 💙

Visitors should also watch for posted signs and designated event boundaries throughout the weekend.
