It is close to all the local attractions and only a 2 minute drive to beautiful Johnson Beach and Big Lagoon State Park. Our second-story unit is nestled among the trees of the Purple Parrot Resort. Whether you’re coming to relax, recharge, or stay awhile, you’ve come to the right place. This One-Bedroom Villa that sleeps four has been stunningly decorated, and now is under new ownership. la is named “The Lost Shaker of Salt!” from the famous song, as it reminds us of something we have been looking for. The villa has a king bed with a flat-screen TV in the master bedroom, with a queen sofa sleeper in the living area. The house has also been equipped with a secure high-speed wireless internet connection, PlayStation 4 with games and two wireless controllers. There is a small balcony accessible through the bedroom. There is no need to take home loads of dirty laundry as we have a stackable washer/dryer combo right off the bathroom. The Purple Parrot Village Resort features a lagoon pool surrounded by palm trees, a continuous waterfall cave, and surrounds a bridge-accessible island hot tub. For rainy days, utilize the heated indoor pool, hot tub, gym, and sauna. The on-site Tiki Bar features a lively atmosphere, live music, and a light menu. Johnson Beach - part of the federal national seashore - is a short two-minute drive from the Purple Parrot Village Resort, allowing access to some of the most magnificent white sand beaches in the world.

We hope all of our guests and friends had a Merry Christmas and a Happy holiday season! 2025 has been a blast. We are excited to see what 2026 has to offer. There are so many fun places to go nearby, but only so much time. We just reduced our nightly rates for January and February. Consider staying with us or our sister condo, "Whispering Waters". We constantly make improvements to The Lost Shaker of Salt. So far in 2025, we have bought new outside furniture and a new Stainless Steel Whirlpool refrigerator. More improvements are planned in late May. We still have Easter dates available. Book your vacation now. It's time to make memories!
