Animals are safe and river is good. Its only 2.5 feet as of now if anyone wants to come shower in the river or come cookout 😌

We are having issues with slideout on one camper and awning on other camper not going in, also our sxs is still down and dont have way to hook to one of the campers if anyone has something small to back it up for us so we can hook to it with truck

We need help out at river anyone willing to donate some helping hands? Biggest need is helping move campers. We have truck to do it. Also need help catching and moving animals.

Today my husband and I processed our very first roosters—actually, our first birds ever. 😢🐓 Definitely not for the weak-hearted.

The first one was HARD. I bawled, no joke, and even yelled, “I’m sorry, Mr. Chicken!” 😭 My husband handled the gutting because I wanted absolutely no part of that lol. The second one was a little easier—I just made sure not to watch when he dispatched it.

We processed 2 of our 3 roosters today. These were raised as meat birds, and honestly, we waited a little longer than planned because we had to work up the nerve to finally do it.

The first weighed 8.3 lbs and the second was 9.5 lbs! 🐓💪

It was emotional, but at the end of the day, this is food we raised ourselves to put on the table and feed our little boys. ❤️🙏 It definitely gave me a whole new appreciation for where our food comes from.

And I have a feeling these boys are going to make some really good meals. 🍗❤️
