What a week. Its taken a few days to process all that's happened since hit the Gulf Coast. Ive been searching for the right words or inspirational message to share, but in times like this what's truly inspirational isn't a catch phrase - its real people.

Our team and our vendor family is nothing short of exactly that: inspirational. I'm so proud to be part of this community and grateful to work alongside so many selfless, dedicated professionals.

I'd like to give you a little peek into our world and share a few highlights of the ways we worked together the past few days to overcome challenges and make sure our clients were still able to have the day they dreamed of, even if it looked a little different.

Thursday, while everyone else was finalizing their hurricane prep, we were able to pull off 3 events, including a 230-person retirement party, a grand opening for a med spa, and a welcome party on Pensacola Beach that was moved up 24 hours.

Friday, one of our staff rode out the storm at the Holiday Inn by IHG in Downtown Pensacola so they'd be a block away from Downtown Pensacola’s Event Venue and able to navigate to the venue for a wedding Saturday. Despite a smaller guest list, a different venue, and a list of other changes, they had a wonderful day. Vendors left mountains of debris at their homes (including Weddings and Events by Jeff - who is truly a hero) to make this day possible for them.

Down the road at Culinary Productions, Inc. another wedding went off without a hitch Saturday afternoon. Shout out to Total W**e Pensacola staff for meeting us at the store - which was without power - to make sure we could still get our client's order so the bar could open. Im so thankful for the amazing relationship we have with Total W**e & More . Our team stepped up to cover for eachother despite the circumstances - the true definition of team work, and a time was had!

Sunday, a crew showed up on Pensacola Beach to give our clients + their guests who traveled here a top-notch bar experience.

As things begin to return to normal (for most of us, at least), remember that we are in the height of fall season. Thank you for the grace as we all navigate recovery together. Cheers and gratitude. 🥂
