Imposter syndrome has a way of showing up right when you’re stepping into something bigger.
It’ll tell you you’re not ready. Not experienced enough. Not cut out for it.
But sometimes, it’s not just self-doubt—life will throw you a curveball when you least expect it.
In 2021, I found myself at a crossroads.
My personal life took a turn, and I had a choice to make—
walk away from something I had just begun to build… something I loved…
or dig in and keep going.
I chose to prove to myself—and to my daughter—that even when life knocks you down,
you can get back up and keep going.
Six years later, I’m proud of what Tap the Coast has become.
The team we’ve built.
The fleet of bars we offer.
Our presence in this community.
And where we’re headed next.
If you’re in a hard season right now, don’t stop. If you're unsure of yourself, take the risk. Don't quit - one day you'll look back and be so proud of what you've built.
