We are a little late posting last weekend’s winners of the Patriotic site contest. This couple stayed on site 41 and went all out, showing their patriotism night and day! They are part of a church group from Blue Lake who spent the weekend biking and enjoying lots of fellowship! We are excited to welcome them back next year as well! The first two camper photos are the winning site and the rest are from other members of the group who also participated.

How cool is this vintage Wagon Train camper? 🏕️

We have all kinds of campers come through Whispering Surf, but every once in a while one makes you stop and take a closer look!

This camper has all the charm of an old-fashioned covered wagon — right down to the wood sides and canvas top — and it’s still out there doing exactly what it was made to do: camping!

We love seeing unique pieces of camping history like this being enjoyed instead of tucked away in storage.

Thanks to our guest for letting us share a photo of their very cool home-away-from-home!

Have you ever seen a Wagon Train camper before?
