Today, we're celebrating one of our longest-standing Pequot Lakes Chamber members, Black Pine Beach Resort!

For nearly 39 years, Black Pine Beach Resort has been a valued Chamber member, and their roots in our community run even deeper. Since welcoming their first guests in 1940, they've been creating unforgettable Whitefish Chain vacations for generations of families. While the resort has changed ownership over the years, one thing has remained constant: its commitment to providing exceptional hospitality.

Thank you for your decades of partnership and for helping make the Pequot Lakes area such a special place to visit. We truly appreciate everything you bring to our community!

Last night's storm took down one of our favorite shade tree. If you've spent time at our beach over the years, you've probably sat in its shade, watching kids in the water or enjoying the sunset.

As sad as it is to lose such a special tree, we're incredibly thankful. It somehow missed the bench, picnic table, grill, and even the little bird's nest tucked into the bushes where it landed by inches.

It's a good reminder that while storms can change the landscape in an instant, they can also leave us with plenty to be grateful for.

Here's to cleaning up, another memory in the books, and making even more memories at the lake this summer.
