🌊 Band Highlight: SeaPoodle 🌊

SeaPoodle is an 8-member surfadelic band born out of the Covid lockdown, blending 60’s psychedelia and surf rock with hints of metal, indie, reggae, funk, and Latin percussion. Their high-energy jams bring fresh grooves to the SoCal music scene. 🎶⚡

Founded by friends Matt Donoghue and Mikko Fleming (a former pro surfer nicknamed “SeaPoodle” for his legendary sun protection hack 🏄‍♂️🐩), the band has already made waves scoring the live soundtrack to Jason Baffa’s surf film Confluence. With several tracks streaming now and a treasure chest of originals waiting in the studio, SeaPoodle is just getting started! 🔥

With his acoustic guitar, a one-of-a-kind approach to harmonica, and a rich bluesy baritone, Anson delivers shows that are as heartfelt as they are electrifying. ⚡🎤

Anson has taken his music across the U.S. from venues and wineries to street corners and subway tunnels, always bringing his authentic voice to unexpected places. Originally from Cincinnati, he now calls Southern California home, where he and his wife Taryn run Rock & Tree, the unique outdoor venue hosting this festival. 🌿

With two self-released albums (Orange Coastline and Lifeboats) and whispers of a third on the way, Anson’s style spans decades and genres, acoustic folk, blues, funk, and even 50’s rock, woven together with influences stretching across the last century. His versatility has also led him to perform with bands like The Peanut Butter Solution, Dark Water Rebellion, The Speakeasies, and Jack Morris.

From the very first note, Juliet Roberts takes you on a ride, her soaring vocals are powerful, timeless, and impossible to ignore. An LA native with a voice that blends soul, rock, and modern edge, Juliet has carved out a sound that’s as contemporary as it is classic. 🎶✨

At her core, Juliet is a songwriter and storyteller. Her poetic lyrics and magnetic stage presence create an instant connection with audiences. ✨ Behind the Scenes at R&T ✨

We’re the dreamers, diggers, builders, painters, cleaners, planters… all the -ers that keep this place alive. 💪🌿 Anson, Taylor, and Taryn have been hard at work prepping the venue for a busy festival season!

A lot of what we do is maintenance, keeping things running smoothly, fixing things you wouldn’t know was broken, but this year we’ve also been adding so many new touches. From our growing Rock & Tree Orchards (with donated trees we’re so grateful for 🌳💚) to 1000s of pounds of mulch raked in by hand thanks to Taylor, solar lights, 3 beehives, fresh shade, and endless little fixes, this land is transforming every day.

This is truly a passion project. The best part? Seeing campers, festival-goers, and community enjoying the space we’ve created. That joy makes every drop of sweat in the 100° heat worth it. ☀️❤️
