PB&J: Plattsburgh Blues and Jazz & Twin Ponds Campsite are proud to present Gypsy Blue R***e on Augsut 14th. This band is a dynamic collaboration led by acclaimed Blues guitarist JP Soars and his band The RedHots, joined by the internationally renowned electric violinist Anne Harris. It’s a blend of Gypsy Jazz, Blues, and Rock. JP Soars is an International Blues Challenge Winner and has earned the "Albert King Guitarist of the Year" award, along with multiple Blues Music Award nominations. Anne Harris has toured with bands such as Otis Taylor, Cracker, Keb Mo, and Taj Mahal, and is celebrated for her soulful, fiery electric violin performances. This supergroup is on to several major festivals in the Northeast and is making a rare stop on this tour for an outside performance at The Twin Ponds Campground in Peru, NY, on Thursday, August 14th. Plus, we have an opening solo performance by none other than the queen of Canada's Blues and an award-winning vocalist, Dawn Tyler Watson! There’s both an outdoor stage and a covered stage for rain or shine. Food and drinks are provided by Dubb's BBQ and the food is outstanding! It’s a family-friendly evening, and kids under 18 are welcome for free. Bring a lawn chair or blanket to enjoy the concert!
