Sewer Installation Update for Tuesday, October 13

Good evening, everyone!

Tomorrow, Tuesday, October 13, contractors plan to continue installing the main sewer lines along the front of the Lakeview sites, numbers 39-45, as well as in front of sites 36, 37, and 38.

In addition, individual site tie-ins will continue along the middle row, from around sites 102–108 and 120-126.

As always, every effort will be made to fill trenches as quickly as possible to minimize disruptions to site access. Please continue to use caution around construction areas, as roads and surrounding areas may have loose dirt and sand from excavation.

Sewer Installation Update for Monday, October 12

Good evening, everyone!

Work on our new sewer system will continue tomorrow, Monday, October 12, with contractors planning to install the main sewer lines along the road that runs from sites 119 & 120 at the west end, along to sites 111 & 112 at the east end.

While this main line installation is underway, work will also continue on individual site tie-ins along the Middle Road, (which services sites 98-108 and sites 120–130).

As work progresses, access to individual sites in these areas may be temporarily disrupted. Every effort will be made to fill trenches as quickly as possible to minimize inconvenience. At times, vehicle access may be restricted, and some sites may only be accessible on foot or by golf cart.

Please continue to use caution around construction areas, as roads and surrounding areas may have loose dirt and sand that has not yet been compacted.

We appreciate everyone’s continued patience and cooperation as we make progress on this phase of our sewer installation project!

Sewer Installation Update for Friday, October 9

Good evening, everyone!

We’re happy to report that the main sewer lines along the back row have now been installed! Individual site hookups will follow.

Tomorrow, Friday, October 9th, contractors plan to continue installing the main sewer lines along the middle row, servicing sites #120–130 on the west side of the road and sites #99–108 on the east side.

During construction, access to some sites may be temporarily affected. To help accommodate everyone:

* Sites 120–130: You may need to access your sites from the back row while work is underway.
* Sites 99–108: You may need to access your sites through the common area north of the pool, where our co****le tournaments are held. You can enter this area near the pool entrance or by the main pavilion and temporarily park in the common area near your site, being careful not to block access for other vehicles.

We ask that everyone please be considerate of neighboring sites when driving through the common area and take care not to disturb or damage anyone else’s property.

As always, every effort will be made to fill trenches as quickly as possible to minimize disruptions. Please also use caution around construction areas, as the roads and surrounding ground may be sandy, loose, and uneven until everything has been properly packed down.

Good morning, everyone!

Work on the installation of our new sewer system continues today, Thursday, October 8th, with contractors proceeding along the back road in front of sites 60 through 46. As well, we are installing individual sewer hookups along the road that services sites 93 through 98 and sites 60 through 69.

Every effort is being made to fill in trenches as quickly as possible behind the contractors to minimize disruptions to site access. However, there may be periods when certain sites are accessible only on foot or by golf cart, rather than by vehicle, while work is underway.

Please also be aware that excavation will leave areas of the roads and surrounding sites very sandy, with loose dirt that has not yet been packed down. We ask everyone to use extra caution when walking, driving, or operating golf carts in these areas until the ground has had time to settle and become more stable.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation as we work through this final phase of our sewer system upgrades. We will continue to keep you informed as construction progresses.

Sewer Hookup Update

As the contractors continue installing new main sewer lines, we are now also beginning work on the individual sewer connections to sites.

As this progress continues, you may see the new sewer connection installed at your individual site. Please do not connect your trailer to the sewer system until you have received confirmation directly from management that your hookup is operational and ready for use.

Although the connection may appear complete at your site, additional work may still be required elsewhere in the system before it can safely be put into service.

We will continue with updates and will let you know as soon as your individual hookup is ready to use. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we complete this phase of the project!

October 7th update:

Contractors are now turning the corner (by Site 60 and Site 130 on the opposite side) and moving onto the back row.

Good morning (Oct 6th)!

As part of the final phase of our campground infrastructure upgrades, our contractors are on site this week and have begun work on the installation of the remaining sewer hookups.

Over the next couple of days, they will be installing sewer lines along the road serving Sites 67 through 60, as well as Sites 93 through 98 on the opposite side of the road.

Access to sites in this area should be very minimally disrupted as construction crews work past your site. Every effort is being made to fill trenches back in as the work progresses so that access to any individual site should not be interrupted for more than a few hours at any point.

At this time, contractors are installing the main sewer lines along the road, but not the individual hookups to each site. We will keep you updated as individual site tie-ins are installed so that you will know when sewer service becomes available at your site.

Once work in this section is completed, we will send out another update letting everyone know which area the contractors will be moving to next. We will continue to provide updates as the work progresses so that campers know when construction will be approaching their area.
