Eva, Skylar and Graham rode yesterday. It was Skylar's first-ever ride, tho her mom had ridden with me before she was married. We were on horses on 9-11 and had no idea what was happening until we came in the house and watched the planes crashing into the towers on TV.

Fun riding with our German visitors Nicholas Tim and Michelle who is a dressage rider. Buster loved having a rider who understood where all his buttons are and sat balanced. Michelle could not believe he is 26 years old! Deena, who rides regularly, joined us on Miss Chloe. Domino is off on his left front, likely from trying to get horse flies. The international travelers were headed to Red River gorge and then South Carolina, they came from Chicago, so had a great tour of the Midwest. riders

Thoroughly enjoyed our morning conversations with Susie and Dave this week. They are huge cat lovers. They took their kitty on an 80,000 mile trek through the West in a 55-ft long fifth wheel spending 3 years seeing the sights!

Jenna and Samantha loved riding and playing with Hank, Bunny, and, of course Domino, who has to be in the middle of everything all the time. Finally we have great riding weather. Still lots of downed trees to clean up.

With another day of rides rained out, Linda had plenty of time to do bodywork on the horses and talk about condition -- butt pillows, shoulder fat, neck crests. Ben and Chloe aren't as fat, Bunny and Winston are adding pounds!
We found several strong reactions to horse fly bites. Linda stretched legs, found pressure points and we heard parts pop back into place. We are so lucky to have access to her skills and experience!

It was so dark yesterday the horses didn't know it was time to come in for breakfast. We were lucky the storms just took branches down. Our locust grove in the back will take lots of time to clean up.
