With such grateful hearts, we are saying goodnight to 2025 and the 316 incredible guests from
around the world that came to stay at La Casetta while visiting our amazing town. Welcoming in the new year with eager hearts to open our doors to even more people in 2026. Happy New Year dear ones ✨

Hi everyone!

A long time and an incredible amount of work in the making… we are very proud to finally be able to list and announce our new family project.

La Casetta Petoskey is a short term rental in the heart of downtown Petoskey. This unique and beautiful space was the home where Marnie’s parents brought her home as a newborn and where she spent the first nine years of her childhood.

We feel very thankful to be able to honor the lives of Luciano and Lynn Duse, Marnie’s parents, by creating something beautiful in this space.

The walls are covered in Luciano’s photography and we love that people from all around the world will see his work and hear their stories while bringing business to our community and visiting our wonderful community, both things that Lynn was passionate about and would love.
