Thunder Bay Resort Thunder Bay Resort is a year round resort on the shores of Lac Vieux Desert in Phelps, WI. We have a bar on sight and offer boat and snowmobile rentals.

It is with both, a heavy and excited heart, that Jim and I announce our departure from Thunder Bay. It was definitely a wild, wonderful and sometimes difficult ride, but I’m so glad all of you were there and on it with us. We made the most beautiful memories and life here in the Northwoods and all of our guests and friends that we made along the way made it all worth it. Thank you all for your years of support. Without you all we would have never made it.

Moving forward there is new management in place already and they will begin taking over the responsibilities this week. Brian and Katy have years of experience in the hospitality industry and we know we are leaving you in wonderful hands. We will be selling 4 2022 Ski Doo Renegade 600’s at the end of this non existent snowmobile season, so probably March 1st. The sleds are liquid cooled, 2 strokes, 137” track, electric start and reverse, will come with 2-up seat and back rest as well as the solo seat. Low miles.

We will also be selling 4 2023 Ski Doo MXZ TNT 600’s at the end of the season as well. Again liquid cooled, 2 stroke, 129” track, electric start and reverse. Low miles.

We are desperately trying to get rid of 2 insulated garage doors with all of the rails etc needed to install them. One has a garage door opener the other does not. They are 14 feet wide and 9 feet tall. I know how much garage doors are going for now. Shoot me an offer or they are Going to the dump. They are still boxed from delivery and have been stored inside. Any help getting rid of them

We have had a couple of cancellations for July. Our 3 bedroom cabin 12 is available from 7/7-7/14 as well as the following week of 7/14-/7/21, with a $500 discount. The cabin rate will be $1225 plus tax. There is also a waterfront cabin 2 bedroom available 7/8-7/15 as well! Book your northwoods vacation with us! You won’t be disappointed

Just wanted to let everyone know that cabin 5 is now back in the rental pool and available all summer! It’s the only 2 bedroom cabin that we have availability in until mid August! Give us a call if you’re looking for a beautiful summer get away!

At the end of the current snowmobile season we will have 2, 2018 Arctic Cat Lynx 2000 and 2, 2019 Arctic Cat Lynx 2000 Snowmobiles for sale. The 2018’s are $2500 and the 2019’s are $3000. We will also be selling a 2006 4 place Sled Bed trailer for $2500 as well. Call or message if interested.
