Like most of our lodge rooms, Egyptian Hall underwent some significant design changes to get to its current look.

Here's what guests at the Temple's grand opening saw, recreated in the Oct. 4, 1873, issue of "Frank Leslie's Illustrated Newspaper." What similarities and differences do you notice?

The program for our stated meeting last night had the privilege of viewing special displays of artifacts from the archives relating to our lodge, which was truly inspiring. The exhibit included aprons, books, medals, trowels, and other fascinating mementos that narrate the rich history of our past.

A sincere appreciation is extended to The Masonic Temple in Philadelphia for curating this exceptional exhibit and for graciously granting us after-hours access to the museum. Their dedication to preserving our heritage facilitates experiences like this.

We spent the day in Harrisburg exploring the Great American Outdoor Show. Checking out the latest in fishing and outdoor gear, it was the perfect way to spend a Saturday with the Brethren.

Of course, the day would not be complete without breaking bread (or nachos) together. We wrapped up the adventure with a wonderful dinner and great conversation. It is moments like these that truly strengthen the bonds of our Brotherhood.

Thank you to everyone who braved the cold and made the trip out!

One year ago ... Unity Day with the Freemasons in Delaware, The Grand Lodge of New Jersey Free & Accepted Masons, Grand Lodge of the State of New York Free & Accepted Masons, Connecticut Freemasons and Gran Logia Soberana de Puerto Rico!

Were you there?

We're looking forward to future collaborative events with other Masonic jurisdictions, including our America250 events with the Grand Lodge of the District of Columbia in July and August.

Watch for more information, including how to register!

If the Masonic Temple is on your 2026 destination bucket list, you're not alone! We were featured in the "Masonic Traveler" column in the January/February 2026 Scottish Rite Freemasonry Journal.

Brother Maynard Edwards, 33˚, director of membership, wrote: "With numerous and grandly decorated lodge rooms and museum and library exhibits as well as thousands of artifacts on display, this building alone is worth the trip to Philadelphia."
His article also mentioned "The Bond," the statue of Brothers Benjamin Franklin and George Washington out front sculpted by Jim West Sculptor, as "a Masonic-selfie must." (Tag us in your pictures with Ben and George!)
