It is the final weekend of our beach season, with the last day for beach parking being this Monday Sept. 1st. Please observe posted signs and the property being closed in the off season. We hope you had a wonderful summer with your loved ones and look forward to seeing you all again next June!

It’s going to be hot tomorrow! Tollgate opens at 9am we do close the beach once capacity is reached. If you call out “sick” from work, we promise we won’t tell the boss. Vitamin Sea sounds like the perfect prescription.

The beach will be open for the season starting this Wednesday June 18th. You must have a valid parking pass to park for the day, one can be purchased at the beach entrance from 9 AM to 3 PM. $15 per vehicle. We do close the beach once we have reached capacity, and post those closings on this page. It looks like some nice weather coming our way, we look forward to seeing everyone’s return, and hope that you all take a moment to make some amazing memories with your family and friends this season.

3 seal patients are getting RELEASED, and you're invited!

When: Thursday, October 10th
Where: Head Beach, Phippsburg (Head Beach Rd.)
Time: 2:00 pm sharp, arrive early to not miss it!

If joining us, keep in mind:
🦭These are wild animals, please use quiet voices until they are in the water
🦭It may take them a moment to feel comfortable enough to come out of the kennels, please be patient and respectful of crowd barriers
🦭Do not approach seals where the barrier tape ends by the water

🌊The marine forecast can always change and impact release conditions. While this release is rain or shine, if marine weather changes we will share any release changes here
🌊Head Beach is private, please be respectful of the parking lot and beach
🌊Thank you to the Wyman family for opening the beach to the public for this release!

We have been receiving inquiries about the opening date for the beach and you can all mark your calendars that it will be Saturday June 15th this season. Since our staffing typically depends on students, we wait till school lets out. This year they will be out a week sooner. Not much longer till summer! The gate is open 9am-3pm daily, you need to purchase a tag to park. Once we reach capacity we do close the beach for the day, which we post here.
