After coming home from one of my toughest days at work so far, unable to hold back the tears of mental exhaustion, I was elated to see the new Medical grade air purifier I ordered for my suite has finally arrived! This is going to set my mind at ease to know that I am doing everything possible to protect my clients and help prevent the spread of COVID.

Wow! My first day back to work was like nothing I’ve ever experienced! After 2 months of “Corona vacation”, I had a wonderful first day back at work. I’ve missed you all so much! My favorite part was this makeover. After more than 15 years, this former client came in for a total change.. She went from an inverted Bob to a chic Pixie! It was so much fun! The craziest part of all, coming home and needing a four hour nap after only for haircuts! Mentally learning a whole new way of doing hair was thoroughly exhausting, but it felt good to be back!

Salon reopening

Hello to all of my wonderful clients!
I have missed you so much!

So, the governor has given us the date as of this Friday to start back to work. (Nothing like short notice) Luckily, I have started to plan early and have everything I need to re-open safely. I will be Following the guidelines of the CDC (see picture below) and the owners rules and suggestions.

1. All stylists and their clients must wear masks.
2. Only one client will be allowed in the suite at a time. Children or dogs temporarily not allowed in the salon unless the client is a child.
3. I will not be able to offer magazines or water so please be sure to bring your personal reading and water bottles to stay hydrated through the summer.
4. The bathrooms will be for emergencies only. Unfortunately, they will need to be fully sanitized after every use and that will take valuable time.
5. If someone is driving you or you have a guest, they must wait in the lobby, practicing social distancing, or in their vehicles.
6. I will not be doing blow dries unless absolutely necessary until we are past the 14 days of declining numbers of COVID cases for Maricopa County.

I understand this is inconvenient and uncomfortable but I need to keep everybody as safe as possible. Please be patient with me while I figure out how to do hair in this new world we live in.

I will be adding extra time to each appointment in order to sanitize the salon in between every client. If you do not have an appropriate mask I will provide one. I am also asking that everyone try to pay remotely through this Zell or Venmo if possible.

I am so excited to finally be back to work and sharing our lives together! I look forward to seeing you again soon!
