s Interactive Series; and our vibrant Salon-style Debates and Discussions, all happening among our eclectic, edgy art gallery of sculptures and paintings, curios, objet d'art and unusual novelties. The quaint rooms in the 1909 abode Spanish Revival hacienda include a revolving display of art interspersed with items that may surprise you. Around every corner will be an unexpected treat for the senses. At the base of South Mountain, with miles of scenic hiking trails, you can squeeze through Fat Man's Pass, while staying near the cities' edge, with handy access to public transportation and the airport, or you can slip into a comfy leather chairs in the Taos living room, listen to the baby grand player piano in the background and enjoy the acoustics of the 10' vaulted barrel ceiling before retreating to your private rooms. When you awake, a delicious breakfast treat awaits, maps, directions, and information are available for the many side excursions in the Valley of the Sun. After the Taos Event, you can avail yourself of the gracious Taos grounds, pool, patios or wait to hear tales of the real wild west and the unknown legends of Arizona history, sitting around the fire pit under the stars (yes, it is cool enough for an active fire pit; nights are cooler than you might expect.) Taos @ South Mountain welcomes your small, house-trained pets to stay with you. Room kennels can easily be provided. Please be advised, we do have a Cat Sanctuary on the property in adjacent buildings. You may wish to have a friendly cat come to visit with you in the hacienda and your room.
