The Hotel Chester is closed forever. The Bar is still their but it is under another name. To my Phoenixville friends, that remember some of the Wild & Crazy times that we had their, I wish you all the Best.

A little about the Hotel Chester : My Grandfather bought the business in 1933, he was a bootlegger before that he did work at the Phoenixville Iron Co My father was their in 1933 ( age 16 ) and worked their and owened the business till his passing in 1979 ( he was their for 41 years ) I got the business in 1979. A very short bio.
