❗️Updates!

🎣 Fish:
Mostly jumbo perch and some smaller walleyes. Overall, it’s been a good perch bite this year.

🧊 Ice:
14-16 inches thick. Hard packed snow on top. Sleds, quads, and side- by-sides are getting out easily.

🪣 Just filled the tanks with more minnows today.

We need trees! It’s time to make the treeline!

If you have a real Christmas tree you’re tossing, please drop it off at the tackle shop.

Or if you know where we could get some trees let me know.

We have around 6-10 inches of ice and are catching jumbo perch and some walleyes. The wind blew most of the snow off so it’s easy getting out there.

Our parking lot and tackle shop are inaccessible at the moment due to 5 foot drifts. Please hold off on coming down until we can get our plows out. Or better yet, please stay home and off the roads. Stay safe out there today.

There is about 4-5 inches of clear ice out to Pine and just about to Grassy.

We have always used the lilac bloom as a good indicator of when the weather is just right and the water temperature hits that magic number for the walleye run to start—and this year is no different. The lilacs are in bloom 🌸and the bite is starting to take off. 🎣

If you’ve been waiting for a sign 🪧to hit the water, this is it. Grab your gear and get out there!
