Popped in to for dinner…had the delicious chicken rice bowl and the best service (ask for Ashley if you go!) A great lunch/dinner option if you’re in Pigeon Forge!

Was craving an Açaí bowl today so I stopped by and it was delicious! I ordered the Kakawa Bowl and it was fresh and delicious. Love supporting a locally, women-owned business. If you’re looking for a delicious treat, definitely check them out - they also have toasts, smoothies and waffles if bowls aren’t your thing!

We love getting photos from guests so when we received this bear photo this morning it made our day. Such a beautiful bear, but also a good reminder to be bear-aware anytime you’re traveling in the Smokies.

🐻 Always lock your vehicle and cabin doors
🐻 Don’t keep food in your vehicle
🐻 Don’t leave trash on your cabin porch/outside for any reason
🐻 Don’t intentionally feed or interact with bears

Played a round of putt putt with the Professor this week at ‪Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure Golf - Pigeon Forge, TN‬ ! Two different course options (Gold and Diamond) keep the line moving and there is plenty of shade around to help you beat the heat. The course is clean and well maintained and the staff is friendly! Our favorite hole was the pyramid and we were pretty obsessed with adorable family of ducks living on the pond. There’s also an awesome train you can ride to the first hole on the course. If you’re staying at The Sweet Retreat At Pigeon Forge be sure to pull up directions on your GPS becuase you can take back roads the whole way there and skip the Parkway entirely! (If you’ve ever sat in Parkway traffic, you know this tip is a hole-in-one!) Definitely a fun way to play a-round while you’re in Pigeon Forge. HAPPY MOTHERS’ DAY!

Thought it was the perfect time to throw back to last year’s Mothers Day when I got to take my Mama to .ranch ! We had a blast riding the chairlift, taking the wagon ride to see the amazing farm animals, enjoyed the views from the tower and the music of world champion banjo player Biscuit and his friends!

Stopped by in Knoxville last week to grab some new headrests for our back-porch hot-tub. They make the whole thing look brand-new and we appreciated the kind folks and customer service. Love a quick refresh to give our guests the best cabin get-away experience possible!

Stopped in the other day for some of the most delicious Indian food we’ve had. The service was excellent and the chicken tikka masala (pictured) was some of the most flavorful we’ve had.

It’s only 1.4 miles down the road from The Sweet Retreat, so it’s a really convenient sit-down option (or grab takeout and eat it on the back porch!)
