Apple Barn celebrates their 50th!
Every time our Dad ever took us to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area, it always included a visit to Apple Barn. It still does! The prettiest little farmhouse restaurant right on the creek that serves family style. You can visit the country store for fresh c***r, apple butter, apple fritters,fresh apples and jams. Love this place!

Do you want to see a bear? I just seen a momma bear and her cubs in Gatlinburg 7 days ago while we were there working at our cabin getting it ready for the busy season. We’ve been lucky usually at dusk when they are out moving around.
If you drive through the Smoky National Park at dusk, you have more of a chance or stoplight #8 in Gatlinburg will lead you to the Roaring Fork Nature Trail. It has beautiful views but we’ve seen a lot of sightings just driving through there. This was in the park not even 1 mile from the visitor’s center. They were in the woods a bit then on the Roaring Fork Motor Trail, we had them cross the road right in front of us.
Visit Drea’s Point of View. We have metal tamper proof outdoor trashcans for a reason!
