We spend a lot of time talking about the big attractions, restaurants and names everyone recognizes around the Smokies.

But today, we want to give some recognition to a local, family-owned restaurant that's getting NATIONAL attention!

Congratulations to Ristorante DellaSantina in Sevierville! 🎉

Tasting Table recently named Ristorante DellaSantina one of the TOP 16 family-owned Italian restaurants in AMERICA! 🇮🇹🍝

Think about that for a minute...

Not just one of the best in Sevierville.

Not just one of the best in Tennessee.

One of 16 selected from across America. 🇺🇸

That's pretty impressive for a locally owned restaurant right here in the Smoky Mountains.

The Tasting Table feature highlights DellaSantina's incredible family heritage, which traces its culinary history back to Verona, Italy, in 1420, along with the restaurant's Italian dishes and commitment to fresh food.

But we also want to give a special congratulations to Lexus, the restaurant manager, who we've really gotten to know. ❤️

We've come to really enjoy getting to know Lexus, and it makes this recognition even more special for us to see.

Anyone who has worked in the restaurant industry knows how much work happens behind the scenes—especially when you're operating in one of the busiest tourism destinations in the country.

This isn't some giant national chain.

It's a family-owned restaurant in Sevierville, Tennessee, receiving recognition alongside restaurants from across the United States.

That's something our area should be proud of. 🏔️❤️

Just-received data from an Air Force Reserve Hurricane Hunter aircraft indicate that Isaias has strengthened to a major hurricane with maximum sustained winds of 120 mph with higher gusts. The minimum central pressure measured from a dropsonde is 959 mb (28.32 inches).
