Sunshine, blooming flowers, the sound of the river flowing, and mountain mornings that just feel good for the soul… it is absolutely beautiful here right now at The Inn On The River. ☀️🌸

The ducks and geese are out enjoying the weather, guests are rocking by the river with coffee in hand, and breakfast on the patio somehow tastes even better this time of year. Fresh hot breakfast, cozy rooms, friendly faces, popcorn in the evenings, and those peaceful river views… this is your sign that it is time for a little getaway. 💛

Today we celebrate all the amazing mothers, grandmothers, bonus moms, mother figures, and the women who love with a mother’s heart. Your strength, kindness, sacrifice, and unconditional love help make the world a softer and more beautiful place every single day.

We’re especially thankful for the wonderful moms on our team and for all those who have spent part of their Mother’s Day with us over the years. It is truly an honor to be part of so many special family memories here by the river.

Not everything here is meant to be done.

Some of it is meant to be "felt".

The soft creak of the rockers. The way the river never hurries, no matter how busy the Parkway gets just beyond the trees. Sunlight slipping through the leaves like it has all the time in the world. Conversations that don’t need to be filled, because the moment already is.

This is the pause you didn’t plan, but end up remembering the most.

At The Inn On The River, the best part of your stay might just be the part where you sit still… and let everything else pass by.
