Today, our family is excited, humbled, and incredibly thankful to share some very special news: we recently had the opportunity to purchase Camp Roosevelt, the historic Scout camp just around the corner from Four Seasons.
Camp Roosevelt has been a special place for members of our family, friends, and neighbors for generations. These photos from summer camp at Camp Roosevelt—some taken more than 70 years ago—show just how far back our family’s connection goes. In the first photo, Norman Robinson—our great-grandfather and the founder of Four Seasons Campground—is pictured at the top right, with his son Jack—our grandfather and the current president of Four Seasons—at the top middle.
For nearly a century, families, Scouts, and community groups have made lifelong memories at Camp Roosevelt. We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to preserve this important part of our community and help carry its legacy into a new chapter.
Camp Roosevelt gives our family the opportunity to serve youth and community organizations in a different way – but with the same heart for camping, connection, and time spent together that has always guided us at Four Seasons. As we embrace this new responsibility, we remain every bit as committed to the people, traditions, and future of our Four Seasons family.
