Thunderhorse Lodge is a special place in the White Mountains of Arizona.

The temperatures in the summer range from the the mid-80s during the day to the 50s at night. Nearby outdoor activities include fishing, biking and hiking or just kick back and relax and watch Elk and other wildlife from the porch.

Visiting Thunderhorse Lodge in the winter is truly special!

We received a light dusting of snow last week and watching the neighborhood herd of Elk walking through the snow-capped pines was a beautiful sight to see!

The White Mountain ski season is just around the corner with Sunrise Park Resort scheduled to open on December 2, 2022.

Whether you are the adventurous type who likes to ski down the mountain or prefer to relax by a warm cozy fire, it’s a great time to make memories at Thunderhorse Lodge.

The Lodge is available for $800 per night Sunday through Thursday and $900 per night for Friday and Saturday (standard non-holiday rate), 3 day minimum.
