📷 by : There's something about Pine Mountain that never gets old — the way the ridgelines roll out in every direction, blanketed in forest that turns every shade of green in summer and fire-orange in fall. Chained Rock still watches over the valley below, the overlooks still stop me in my tracks, and the quiet up here still feels like coming home.
♿ A place made for everyone to explore. The Herndon J. Evans Lodge offers wheelchair-accessible rooms, so guests using mobility devices can settle in comfortably and still soak up those incredible mountain views right from their patio or balcony. Getting outdoors and taking in this kind of natural beauty shouldn't be limited to those without mobility challenges — and Pine Mountain makes it possible to experience Kentucky's oldest state park, mobility device and all.
Whether you're rolling up for your first visit or, like me, your fiftieth year running — this park has a way of reminding you why it's worth the trip. 💚
