We have 47 RV Sites with 30/50 amp service, 5 rental camping cabins, a game room and 2 bath houses Our boat ramp is open to the public and cost $5 per boat. 803-452-5336 We have 47 campsites with water/sewage hookups. Electric is 30/50 amp service. Bait&Tackle store with Ice,drinks,snacks and Bait. Rentals:Jon boats with 5 hp motors
RENTAL CABINS:$100 a night.

Introducing the SCDNR Marsupial Team!

With one of the best sniffers in the animal kingdom, the decision to add opossums to our team was an easy one. This new kid on the block has already sniffed circles around our existing K9 Team and is much better adapted to tracking under nighttime conditions.

Not only does he have excellent tracking skills, but he also eats all the ticks and bugs along the trail, leading to better working conditions for his handler, a skillset that our K9’s just can’t offer.

Another perk of transitioning to opossums is that they’re resistant to snake venom which comes in very handy during long tracks across South Carolina’s variable terrain.

We can’t wait to get this little fella trained up and in the field to help protect our states natural resources!
