We’re proud to spotlight a special local celebration happening this Labor Day Weekend as Kit Carson Lodge celebrates 100 years at Silver Lake! ✨

Join the two night Centennial celebration featuring incredible live music from acclaimed artists, a hosted BBQ dinner prepared by Aroma Restaurant, and an unforgettable evening celebrating a century of history in the High Sierra.

🚨 Important Announcement 🚨

We want to provide an important update regarding the current power outage at Bear River Lake Resort.

We were informed by PG&E that immediate action was needed, and we are working under their guidance to address the power lines and necessary repairs. These repairs need to be properly addressed before electricity can be safely restored.

Electricity will remain off until the required repairs have been completed and we receive the necessary approval to safely restore power.

💧 Water service is still available at the campground, and other amenities and services that do not require electricity will continue to be available.

We understand that the power outage may be an inconvenience for our campers and guests, especially with the current heat wave. Please know that the safety of our campers, guests, staff, and campground is our top priority. We are taking the necessary steps to address the situation safely and responsibly while working closely with PG&E.

We sincerely appreciate your patience, understanding, and cooperation as we work through this situation. We will continue to keep our campers informed and share additional updates as more information becomes available.
