8/11/2023 Update- MORE TRAILS OPEN thanks to your generous donations!! Trails have been TEMPORARILY repaired, please go slow and STAY ON TRAIL, especially in Cloutiers Pit! *WASHOUTS AND DAMAGE EXISTS ON ALL TRAILS*

Huge thank you for all the hardwork that went into making this happen!

Ok Folks, here is the UPDATE everyone has been asking for- read it all please! PENDING THE FORECASTED RAIN ON FRIDAY- we plan to open the trails and roads on Friday. TRAILS AND ROADS ARE STILL CLOSED AT THIS TIME!

What you need to know:
1.) Corridor C south to Colebrook STOPS at Rancourt Energy in W. Stewartstown. IT IS A DEAD END DUE TO THE RAILBED WASHOUT- NO access to Colebrook via Corridor C!

2.) Indian Stream Rd north from Moose Pond Rd all the way to the end of ATV use is CLOSED.

3.) Snack Shack Trail and Corridor A (Deadwater Loop) have minor washouts, but are passable. Connect to Metallak, Colebrook, Millsfield, etc via Snack Shack or Corridor A. There is no access to Errol village at this time (13 Mile Woods Trail closed)!

4.) MANY Trails in our system are closed- OBEY CLOSURES AND DO NOT GO ON CLOSED TRAILS! (See map picture)

5.) ALL TRAILS HAVE MINOR WASHOUTS AND REDUCE YOUR SPEED. If you aren’t comfortable crossing through an area, TURN AROUND! Use your head and BE SAFE!

6.) STAY OUT OF WASHED OUT AREAS, DRAINAGE DITCHES, AND MUD- it is very saturated, very unstable and may give way or swallow your wheeler!

A huge shoutout to Metallak ATV Club, Umbagog ATV Club, and the NH Bureau of Trails for an amazing collaboration getting things under control and assessed. Please comment any questions and we will be glad to help!

Another five star review for Deer Run Lodge!

"We stayed at the Deer Run Lodge for an extended weekend of snowmobiling with friends. The house had every amenity we needed as well as ample games and activities. The kitchen was well stocked with very nice appliances, cookware and dining ware. The gas stove made the house feel extra cozy after a long day on the trails. The house was located about a 1/2 mile from the trails proving quick access to hours of fun. The neighbors were extremely nice. " - Meagan

TUESDAY-THURSDAY UPDATE
Sorry for the delay, the day got ahead of me. Probably a good thing because I needed time to let the models work themselves out.

Precipitation moves in late Tuesday night heading northeast. The secondary low forms over the open water which will start to pull in the cold air. Areas just north of 495 MAY see some flakes early on but will be predominantly rain for the duration.
An initial thump of snow transitions to rain for south-central New England after a minor accumulation. I personally feel at this point that the rain/snow line is going to end up being farther north than the models are saying just because historically, that is what has happened.
Central New England could see 4-6 inches which northern areas will likely see 6-8 with some isolation 8-12 areas. This will be a heavy, wet snow. This will pack down quite a bit and shoveling it will not be fun.
Precipitation lasts through the day Wednesday before pulling out Thursday morning with some showers left over through Thursday afternoon.
