Road & Trail Closure starting Tomorrow

August 3, 2026 MONDAY

🚧Town of Colebrook 🚧 will be closing Bear Rock Road from Cree Road junction and Harvey Swell Road out to the junction of Diamond Pond Road for ATV use

This will create the need to also close the Valley Trail

Another town bridge is being replaced

⛔️Please be cautious of heavy equipment in the area⛔️

We will keep you posted on estimated project completion

Starting Monday, July 27th …….⛔️Corridor A trail from kiosk junction with Snack Shack trail out to the kiosk Junction with Nathan Pond trail⛔️ ………will be closed for 3 major bridge replacements.

All attempts to open on weekends is the plan but things may prevent it, so stay informed by checking our page on Friday evenings for any updates

This is a huge project so please be patient 😊

Did someone say ice cream? 🍦

Following employment changes in April of this year, Joel, Jodi, Jaylyn, and Jaclyn made Lakeview Cabins their sole focus. Around the same time, Michaela was hoping to return to the North Country and was searching for the right opportunity to bring her back home.

That's when the dream of owning an ice cream stand began to take shape. With Michaela's years of experience working for Cathy and Jerry at their ice cream stand, combined with the available space provided by Lakeview, the vision quickly became a reality.

Once the necessary permits were approved, renovations began, and Young's Trailside Scoops was underway.

Stay tuned for our Grand Opening coming in the next couple of weeks!

Our family is excited to bring ice cream back to Pittsburg!
