The Pittsburg connector ATV trail between Hidden Acres Campground and the southern trail system is a vital link for riders, local businesses, rental guests, campgrounds, property owners, and visitors. This trail provides access to Lakeside Colony, The Tarns, Bear Rock Rentals, Spruce Cone, Buck Rub Pub, Northern Trail, and many other homes and businesses in the area.

The Great North Woods Riders ATV Club is planning major improvements to this important trail section, including:
✔️ Replacing culverts
✔️ Adding gravel
✔️ Upgrading and smoothing the trail surface

A grant has already secured funding for the culverts, gravel, and hauling. However, the grant does NOT cover the excavator needed to complete the work. Local landowners are still working to raise funds for several days of excavator use.

We’re asking anyone who benefits from or enjoys this connector trail to please consider pitching in toward this much-needed investment.

If anyone rode this trail this weekend, you know exactly HOW BAD it is! Any donation amount is appreciate. 

The Pittsburg connector ATV trail between Hidden Acres Campground and the Southern trail system is a vital link for riders, local businesses, rental guests, campgrounds, property owners, and visitors. This trail connects to Lakeside Colony, The Tarns, Bear Rock Rentals, Spruce Cone, Buck Rub Pub, Northern Trail, and many other homes and businesses in the area.

The Great North Woods Riders ATV club is planning improvements to this important trail section. The project includes replacing culverts, adding gravel, and upgrading and smoothing the trail surface. Thanks to a grant, funding is secured for the culverts, gravel, and gravel hauling. However, the grant does not cover the cost of the excavator needed to complete these improvements.
